To make sure that local people share the benefits of new energy
projects, they will shortly be launching a Community Benefit Fund.
But SPEN needs your help…
Before they open the fund to applications from local organisations, they
need to understand how you think this money should be spent. This
will help them decide the sort of local projects that the money should
support so it brings lasting community benefits.

After they have gathered everyone’s views, SPEN will agree the funding
priorities for your area. The fund will then open for local groups to apply
