Nominations for awards are normally invited in March of each year, and a nomination for is downloadable from here:
The Community Awards normally take place during Civic Week (the second week in June). An Awards Ceremony is held in the Council Chamber in Dunbar Town House. The award winners are able to bring along a couple of friends or relatives to see the ceremony. For each award a citation is read out and the award is made by that year’s Civic Week Queen, and photographs are taken for our website, Facebook page and the press.
