The meeting commenced with a tribute to the life and work of Stephen Bunyan MBE who had been a past Chairman of Dunbar Community Council and a member since it first started in 1976. Stephen had dedicated his life to public service and passed away on 17th December 2024.
There followed a presentation by Dunbar Town Centre Action Group who are seeing ways to improve the High Street environment and will have an inaugural meeting on 28th January 2025.
Two new Community Councillors were voted on to DCC: George Robertson had formerly been a member and has rejoined to help with some projects on a temporary basis over the next few months. Ree Rolph has taken a leading role in Setting up a Dunbar High Street Residents Group.
