The Dunbar Clifftop Promenade is currently being resurfaced following a fundraising campaign by the Dunbar and East Linton Area Partnership. This resulted in an award of from SUEZ Communities Trust of £21,285. Additional match funding from the Area Partnership and from East Lothian Council have allowed this project to commence at a total cost of £50,000. The prom was originally laid in 1903 and has been in a poor state of repair for a number of years. The new surface will be much safer for walkers.
