Swimming: Edward Alsop, S4, has been steadily improving on his swimming times and is currently a member of the Scottish Senior Bronze squad. He competed at the North District Open in Inverness last weekend with the East Lothian Swim Team and improved his 400m freestyle time by an incredible 15 seconds to 4:06.55, the fastest time by any Scottish 15-year-old this year. It also ranks him 6th in Britain for that age & event. He also improved times in other events, putting him 2nd best 15-year-old in Scotland for 100m and 200m butterfly and 4th for 400m individual medley.
Taekwondo: S1 students Ryan and Kyle Campbell recently competed in the British Taekwondo Championships in Bath. Ryan won a Gold medal in patterns and a Silver in sparring and Kyle achieved a Silver in patterns and a Bronze in sparring. Both are heading to Barcelona to compete in the Challenger Cup this weekend.
