The meeting commenced with a short presentation by PC Laura Jackson on Community Policing.
Philip Mellor, Chair of the Dunbar Traders Association, spoke to the DTA Paper which strongly opposes the introduction of Parking Charges in Dunbar. the DTA view was that there were no parking issues in Dunbar which could not be addresses by better management of existing controls. DCC will launch a community survey and will organise a public meeting to discuss the issues.
Under Planning issues, there was discussion about the proposed installation of a surface water pipe on land east of the Dunbar garden Centre.
