Here is the West Port corner and adjacent buildings looking smart, thanks to the efforts of our stalwart volunteers, helped by your funding contributions. The next phase commences on 1st June when Graham Adams, Neil Anderson, and others will be finishing off the North end of the High Street before tackling the Southern end, and in particular the shabby buildings above the Cutting Room and Community Bakery. So please keep the funding going by donating here:
High Street Painting Justgiving Page
We depend on your contributions as well as support from The Dunbar and East Linton Area Partnership. This pays for paint and the hire of the cherrypicker. The volunteers of course give their time for free. the paint is expensive, for example, the building above the Community bakery requires a special paint at a cost of £1,500 plus VAT! So please keep the donations going.
