Here are the main points from the December meeting:
- The Project Manager gave a presentation about the proposed Neart Na Gaoithe Windfarm which will be 30 Km North of Torness and will have a potential capacity of 450 MW. Work offshore is due to start in 2021.
- Three applications for grants from the Local Priorities Fund were considered.
- The proposed closure of Ward 2 at Belhaven Hospital was discussed. The matter is subject to much local debate, and will be discussed further at the upcoming Integrated Joint Board Meeting.
- A social event followed the formal meeting during which a vote of thanks was proposed for the Community Lights Team, and a painting of Dunbar Town House was given to the Museum Service.
